Birthday parties and similar style "private" events do not require any type of licensing for movies. However, larger outdoor showings typically require a license since it is considered a "public viewing" of a movie. When booking your outdoor movie, we can help guide you to decide whether or not you need the license, and how to properly attain it.
Yes, all orders require a 50% deposit on the rental total.
End of Civil Twilight. That is when most of the ambient light from the setting sun has dwindled down. That allows for the maximum brightness and quality of the screen. End of Civil Twilight is approximately 26 minutes after sunset. You can visit timeanddate.com and search your date for the Sunset and Civil Twilight times.
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit, blower, etc. which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial our rental contract that discusses the safety precautions to keep you, your guests and the equipment safe.
